Join us this Earth Day at Arrowhead Marsh for a hands-on community stewardship day focused on caring for existing trees and green spaces across the park. Working alongside certified arborists, volunteers will support essential maintenance activities including mulching, weeding, staking, and watering. This is a great opportunity to learn, connect, and give back while helping sustain Oakland’s urban canopy.
What to bring & wear:
-Closed-toe shoes (required)
-Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
-Sunscreen
-Reusable water bottle
What we’ll provide:
-Tools and guidance
-Snacks and refreshments
-Staff support throughout the day
Arrival & Check-In:
Please arrive between 9:30 AM–10:00 AM and look for the green OPRF tent near the central picnic tables. Staff will be onsite to guide volunteers to designated parking and overflow areas.
Directions:
Enter at 1 Swan Way, then turn right onto Swan Way.
