About this Event
Ready to ride into the world of e-bikes? 🚲⚡ Join Ava Community Energy (Ava) and Bike East Bay for a free community event at Coliseum BART parking lot! Whether it’s your first time on an e-bike or you’re ready to upgrade, this free community event is the perfect place to explore your options and your chance to:
- Test ride a variety of e-bikes on a supervised, closed-course circuit (no traffic!) to find the one that’s right for you
- Meet local bike shops and get expert guidance on e-bike options for commuting, family trips, and recreation
- Learn about rebates and how you can save hundreds on a new e-bike of your choice. This program awards rebates to eligible Alameda County and San Joaquin County residents every month, with larger rebate amounts available for income-qualified residents!
- Access free bike education and safety resources
This year’s event features an improved layout and more opportunities to ride and compare bikes, making it easier than ever to find the right fit for your lifestyle.
This is a family-friendly event — everyone is welcome! Please bring a valid ID if you’d like to demo an e-bike. You must be over the age of 18 to test ride an e-bike, though passengers on e-bikes may be under the age of 18.
