Our spring concert at Halifax Minster is dedicated to the music of the 19th-century Czech composer Antonín Dvořák. Joined by four outstanding soloists and the National Festival Orchestra, we will perform two contrasting works: the exuberant Psalm 149 and the deeply moving Stabat Mater. Influenced by Czech folk music, Dvořák’s emotionally direct and richly melodic writing promises an unforgettable evening of music.
