This camp is best for youth ages 12-18. Camp runs each day from July 15 - July 19, 10 AM - 2 PM. Enter the world of role playing games through this multi media adventure! Students will learn improv, illustration, and writing skills as they build backstories, design and draw their characters and work together to build a world, culminating in an epic D&D adventure! Students will leave with a portrait of their character, a handmade map of the world, an understanding of D&D, and some new friends!
All materials are provided. Class is 10am - 2pm each day, Monday through Friday, with a 45 minute break for lunch. Students are responsible for bringing their own lunch and snacks. We have a mini fridge and microwave available for student use.
Lucy Laybourn is a nerdy illustrator who is passionate about the power of D&D to connect people. She loves to intertwine the lore of a group of characters, and can be found painting miniatures and aging paper to look like parchment in her free time.
