Simba Roots is a reggae selector, reggae dub soundsystem pioneer from Istanbul, Turkey.He has been dealing with reggae records since the beginning of 2000s.He started DJin first time in 1998 in “Nayah Culture Club” in Istanbul.He finished the first soundsystem project called “Simba Roots Hi-Fi” in 2013. The soundsystem and the crew has been powering and organising “Dubclub Istanbul” dances in Istanbul since 2015. Simba Roots Soundsystem is the only active reggae-dub soundsystem in Turkey to date.Simba Roots invited to play on as guest selector on soundsystems in europe many times.Dubcamp festival(France 2018), Dubwisemilano festival ( Italy 2023) was the
highlights of his musical journey.Simba Roots involved many vinyl projects and finally became a record label in time.Simba Roots will be in Mexico tour in March 2024. This time he will be performing alongside with Singer Iyah Ranks from Switzerland the first time on 4th of May in DubclubMünchen in Germany!
