About this Event
The Black Card Film Club of Memphis (@bccc_memphis) is a community space where we can enjoy some of our classics, whether you're just a casual movie fan or a certified cinephile. This space seeks to host discussions on these films, uplift and promote the black filmmakers and actors featured in them, and also local artist
Memphis creative Taylor Bee (@taylordbee/@bee_discog) will be co-hosting this month. Taylor is the writer of "Above the Horizon," a motion picture featuring beautifully shot, storytelling visuals. The films featured this month are "Like Mike (2002)" and "Are We There Yet? (2005)."
This event will be held in the back of the shopping center where Day's is located. Parking spots are limited and first-come, first-served, so carpooling is HIGHLY encouraged. The event is $10 at entry per car. The radio station will also be provided upon entry. Feel free to sit inside your car with your people and just enjoy the content and movies, or simply enjoy the space with music or games.
