This exciting workshop will take place over two days and will enable you to learn a variety of skills necessary for working with steel rods.
About this Event

Using these skills you will create three-dimensional drawings and approach new ways of conceiving sculpture.

The aim of this course is that you can explore new ways of conceiving sculpture and drawing. We will explore the space, the volume and different types of lines from a new perspective, considering the light, shadows and interstices between the lines as part of the work as well. The course will cover the techniques of bending, cutting, grinding, rolling & shaping steel rods. It will cover MIG welding for beginners and advanced.

Students will work on individual sculpture/s or projects. If you don’t have a project yet, no worries, we will discuss and give shape to your ideas. Small group numbers allows 1:1 tuition for participants on this course.
