About this Event
Label Theatre Company is proud to present a double bill of two exciting new plays; first, a Stamp Reading of Lily Welsh's Bosie, followed by a Ribbon Reading of Ben M. Jones' "Ace In The Hole." Each play runs about 50 minutes, and we'll take a ten minute intermission in between the two shows, for a total run time of one hour and fifty minutes (1:50)
Bosie:
Branded "The Man Who Killed Oscar Wilde", Bosie Douglas sets out on yet another ill fated libel case to clear his own name. Finally given a chance to tell his side of the story, the Greatest Villain of Literary History will tell all about his troubled family, his artistic ambitions, and his doomed romance with Britain's infamous genius. But can anyone who lives in the past truly move forward?
Ace in The Hole:
You meet a guy in a bookstore—because, honestly, where else are you going to meet someone?—and it's going great. You get on. Except you've got a secret. An ace in the hole, so to speak. It's you; you're the ace. You're asexual. Sure, he'll still be into you if he knows you don't experience sexual attraction. Right?
