Dominik Friedrich bringt seine Musik in den historischen Kuppelsaal von THE KNAST – den ehemaligen Betsaal des Frauengefängnisses Lichterfelde-West und heute eine atmosphärische Speakeasy-Bar mit einzigartiger Akustik.
Der Gitarrist und Sänger aus Norddeutschland verbindet Fingerstyle-Gitarre, Indie Folk, Pop und weltmusikalische Einflüsse zu einem Sound, der cineastisch wirkt und zugleich ganz nah bleibt. Allein mit Gesang, Gitarre und einem ausgefeilten Live-Setup erschafft er ein eigenes Klanguniversum.
Dominik nennt seinen Stil Elusive Indie: Er spielt Songs über das Unterwegssein, das Fremdsein und das Gefühl, in Bewegung zu Hause zu sein. Zuhörer:innen beschreiben seine Musik als „voller Seele“ und „tief berührend“.
Der Künstler hat bereits auf Bühnen in Deutschland, Irland, Belgien, Österreich und Tschechien gespielt, mehrere Song Slams und einen Festival-Wettbewerb gewonnen und mit Acts wie Kim Churchill die Bühne geteilt. Seine EPs Traveler’s Diary und Traveler’s Diary | Lost Pages zählen inzwischen über 250.000 Streams auf Spotify.

Dominik Friedrich brings his music to the historic domed hall of THE KNAST – the former prayer hall of the Lichterfelde-West women's Pr*son, now an atmospheric speakeasy bar with unique acoustics.
The guitarist and singer from northern Germany combines fingerstyle guitar, indie folk, pop and world music influences to create a sound that is cinematic yet intimate. With just his voice, guitar and a sophisticated live setup, he creates his own unique sound universe.
Dominik calls his style Elusive Indie: he plays songs about being on the road, being a stranger and the feeling of being at home on the move. Listeners describe his music as ‘full of soul’ and ‘deeply moving’.
The artist has already played on stages in Germany, Ireland, Belgium, Austria and Czechia, won several song slams and a festival competition, and shared the stage with acts such as Kim Churchill. His EPs Traveler's Diary and Traveler's Diary | Lost Pages now have over 250,000 streams on Spotify.
