Our newly updated one day risk assessment and safety planning training (formerly DASH training).
Join us to enhance your knowledge and skills in working with domestic abuse, coercive control, completing the DASH Risk Indicator Checklist and referring to the Plymouth MARAC.
This course is for MARAC representatives, their managers, and anyone working in the frontline in Plymouth who is in a position to identify and respond to domestic abuse and wants to receive the most current training and tools to support their practice.
Learning Objectives of the training:
- Understand the dynamics of domestic abuse, coercive control, stalking and so called ‘Honour’ Based Abuse;
- Understand when and how to make a Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) referral;
- Understand how to identify high risk domestic abuse and potential risk escalation using the DASH RIC and the Homicide Timeline; and
- Be able to co-design a safety plan with victim/survivors which addresses identified risks and consequence.
