Isak Austnes Brekken - our true piano maestro - with his classical training, blends the old with the new, and gives each note new meaning. He's involved in many local projects, though it's impossible to stop him. He's recently traveled through perhaps every city in Norway, and every corner of Oslo, spreading the sounds of melodies that you can't help but hum long after his concert. No wonder, after all, he draws inspiration from such musicians as Thelonious Monk or Duke Ellington.
