Presented by Wecelium Wellness

Winter is receding. The network is waking up.
Step out of the frost and into the forest for the Spring Equinox Prom. This is a night of transition—honoring the balance of light and dark through ritual, high-energy movement, and deep vibrational rest.
Whether you come with a "Prom Date," a group of frolicking forest friends, or as a lone tree looking to plug into the mycelium network, you are part of the grove.
THE EXPERIENCE:
-Cacao Tasting & Opening Candlelight Ritual w Dorothy Morganna
We begin the night together with a heart-opening cacao tasting (included with your ticket) and an opening new season ritual to honor the equinox and set our spring intentions.
Please bring a nature memento, small fallen branch, or other SMALL nature item for the centerpiece
-Movement workshop / ceremony / opening dance set with Maytrelli Diaz
Deepen our connection to body wisdom through somatic exploration, breathwork, and intuitive movement.
-Ecstatic Dance (Sheena Medicina): Shed your winter skin. Sheena brings a 2 hour set of deep, rhythmic songs designed for pure, uninhibited movement and free flow. Solo, partner dancing, groups, it's up to you. See below for more about ecstatic dance.
-Closing Sound Bath (Suntaya): We’ll integrate the energy and ground back into the earth with a restorative sound journey after the dance.
THE FOREST ETIQUETTE (Guidelines for the Grove):
To keep the energy intentional and the floor sacred, we follow these simple agreements:
1. Move in Silence: The dance floor area itself is generally a talk-free zone unless asking consent to dance with someone. If you have words to share, please use the social spaces around the perimeter or head downstairs to the Gallery.
2. Barefoot: No shoes on the dance floor. Connect directly with the "roots." Clothing required (shirts on please for all) per contact improv etiquette.
3. Presence over Performance: No alcohol or drugs.
4. Consent is Key: Respect personal space and wait for a clear "yes" (verbal or non-verbal) before dancing with others.
DRESS CODE / COSTUME IDEAS:
Forest Prom / Nature Magic. Optional but fun!
Come as a shimmering spirit, a mossy ancient, a blooming wildflower, or a dapper woodland creature. Costumes or subtle nature vibe clothing highly encouraged!
Clothing is required (tops & bottoms)
No shoes please, indoor dance shoes only if needed

MAYTRELLI DIAZ -
Decolonizing Wellness: Reclaiming Ritual, Reconnecting with Body Wisdom
Maytrelli Diaz is an energy healer, a medicine woman, and a holistic health coach, deeply rooted in the indigenous wisdom of her mother’s lineage in Mexico.
She earned a law degree from Westhill University in Mexico City, specializing in environmental issues. However, witnessing the challenges of modern human behavior within the legal system prompted her to seek a path that fosters holistic awareness in society. Trusting her intuition, Maytrelli embraced the Healing Arts, embarking on a journey of self-discovery and balance. She has completed multiple teacher training in yoga while she was living in India, including Tantra Agama, Diksha, and Sivananda Yoga, and has explored dance as a somatic practice for emotional balance for over 15 years.
With Aztec roots from a lineage of curanderas (healers), Maytrelli was drawn to the healing arts from a young age. Her passion deepened through her studies of Mayan astrology and Toltec wisdom, guided by her elders in traditional practices. She also teaches individuals about the Mayan Synchronometer, empowering them to utilize its principles to enhance their everyday lives.
As a ritualist and facilitator, Maytrelli has led intentional women’s circles, rites of passage, and grief and healing embodiment ceremonies for over 12 years. She acts as a bridge to transmit the wisdom of elders, leading healing journeys to Mexico to connect with sacred lands and ancient teachings.
Maytrelli firmly believes that forgiveness, compassion, and loving actions can transform individuals and restore our existence as living art. Together, we can cultivate a community rooted in love for the Earth and strive toward the ultimate goal of all beings: happiness.
