Discover the art of seeing - and drawing - the natural world in exquisite detail.
Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring the fascinating practice of natural history illustration: the art of observing, measuring, and recording nature with accuracy and creativity. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or simply curious about how science and art intertwine, this session will guide you through the essentials of drawing in natural history.

What to expect
We’ll start from scratch - no previous drawing experience needed! Together, we’ll explore:
Observation: how to really see your subject, from leaf veins to feather patterns
Using tools: working with magnifying glasses and microscopes to capture fine details
Drawing techniques: understanding how to measure proportions
Materials and mediums: choosing the right pencils, pens, papers for your work
