Celebrate the coming of spring and the vibrant birdlife of Dinefwr with a free afternoon of colour, creativity and connection to nature.Gorymdaith y Gwanwyn (Spring Promenade) begins with a lively, family-friendly procession through the grounds, where spectacularly costumed characters, musicians and flocks of colourful “birds” bring the landscape to life. Borrow one of our beautiful costumes or flower crowns, or craft your own, and join the parade as we welcome longer days, warmer weather and the changing season together.
Gather at 1:45pm in the Oak Yard to take part.
After the festivities, you’re invited to slow the pace with Gwrandewch ar y Gwanwyn, a gentle listening session from 3pm–4:30pm. Settle into our peaceful ‘Gwrando’ space at the front of the house to relax, reflect and tune into the sounds of spring. Use a bird identification app or simply sit and enjoy the birdsong around you.
