Sounding for Wellbeing: Voice & Harmony for Mental HealthJoin us for a gentle and welcoming workshop exploring how voice and sound can support mental wellbeing.
Research shows that humming, vocal toning and group singing can help regulate the nervous system by stimulating the vagus nerve, supporting relaxation, emotional balance and stress reduction.
This session will guide you through simple and accessible vocal practices designed to help you reconnect with your breath, body and voice.
During the workshop we will explore:
• Vocal techniques for relaxation and wellbeing
• Humming meditations to calm the nervous system
• Simple group harmony practices
• Using affirmations through the voice
• Sounding practices that help bring you back to yourself
No singing experience is needed.
This is not about performance it’s about using your voice as a tool for wellbeing and self-regulation.
Everyone has a voice, and everyone is welcome.
This workshop is open to all ages and suitable for anyone interested in supporting their mental health through sound, breath and gentle vocal practice.
Your voice is your medicine.
