About this Event

On 22nd April, join us for an inspiring morning dedicated to empowering local charities and community groups with the digital tools they need to thrive.

Note: This programme and event are completely complimentary, thanks to the generous support of the National Lottery Community Fund.

Event Highlights
  • Official launch of the Digital Kindness in Action campaign: Learn how your organisation can access six months of hands-on digital support.
  • Mini-Workshop: Social Media as a Campfire. Instead of just a megaphone, think of digital platforms as a place to gather. We’ll explore how a strategic presence can transform your outreach and help in: Building a Bigger Community, Attracting & Thanking Sponsors, Boosting Volunteer Recruitment and Real-Time Impact.
  • Structured Networking & Expert Advice: Dedicated time for meaningful networking with fellow charity leaders and volunteers.
  • Q&A Session: Our digital expert will be available for 1-on-1 advice regarding your organisation’s online presence.

Why Attend?
  • Get Priority Access: Be the first to learn how to apply for the fully-funded support programme.
  • Connect Locally: Meet the people behind the organisations making a difference in your area.
  • Expert Guidance: Take away practical, jargon-free advice you can implement immediately.

Light refreshments will be provided. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

About the Organiser:

In a world where non-profits often feel pressured to be “always on,” Digital Kindness, SCIO, offers a different approach. Instead of overwhelming organisations with jargon-heavy tech advice, we focus on digital empathy, helping community groups build authentic online presences that truly reflect the impact they make in the real world. Our mission is simple: no charity should be left behind just because the digital world feels daunting. We’re here to help them communicate with their communities in a kind, purposeful, and effective way.

Whether you are looking for social media support or simply want to meet the people behind the organisations next door, we would love to see you there.
