About this Event
Date: Wednesday 22 April 2026
Time & Format:
09:00 – 09:30: Tea, coffee, pastries and networking
09:30 – 10:30: Seminar & interactive Q&A
BTO Solicitors LLP and Emploi — a data-driven, fully integrated HR technology and services provider — have joined forces to deliver a three-part seminar series exploring the real opportunities and risks of using AI and technology in HR.
This first session focuses on how AI-enabled HR can act as a productivity and utilisation lever, rather than simply a back-office function.
What we’ll explore
Scott Baxter, Founder of Emploi, will share practical insights into how technology and AI are already being used in HR to:
• Improve utilisation by reducing friction and low-value internal work
• Cut down ‘in the business’ activity for leaders, managers and HR teams
• Free up time and capacity for employees to focus on the business — innovation, growth and delivery
This is a practical, business-focused session designed for organisations under pressure to do more with highly skilled, highly paid people.
The session will include an interactive Q&A, where Scott will be joined by Dawn Robertson. Dawn is an accredited employment law specialist and a member of BTO Solicitors LLP’s STEM Group, who will address employment law considerations organisations must not ignore.
Who should attend?
This seminar is designed for:
• Founders, CEOs and Managing Directors
• COOs and Operations Leaders
• HR and People Directors
• Technology and scaling businesses seeking operational leverage
If you want to increase efficiency and save time and money without exposing your organisation to unnecessary legal risk, this session is for you.
