About this Event

Digital Futures: Rethinking Inequalities in an AI-driven world

Digital technologies are increasingly shaping how we live, work, and access services, but their impacts are uneven. While they can create opportunities, they also have the potential to reinforce or deepen existing inequalities in ways that are often subtle and interconnected.

This panel brings together speakers from different backgrounds to explore how inequalities operate in the digital sphere and how power distribution in the field of AI and digital technology is reshaping inequalities today. What is the contribution of academia in this constantly evolving landscape and how can we strengthen the synergies between academia and policy to promote social justice and democracy in the digital space? Join our panel for a timely and thought-provoking conversation.

This event forms part of UCL’s Grand Challenge of Inequalities.
