About this Event

Julius Klein invites designers to an immersive afternoon of learning, exploration, and connection. The program features a sourcing workshop, a panel moderated by Rebecca Boyajian with Mark Klein, Grant Mobley, and a TBD designer, plus hands-on diamond exploration. The day concludes with cocktails and networking, empowering designers with tools and relationships to confidently create with diamonds.




Rebecca Boyajian

Rebecca Boyajian, GIA GG, AGS CG, is a brand ambassador, speaker, and relationship builder with 20 years in luxury fashion and fine jewelry. She has held leadership roles at Roberto Coin, Bloomingdale’s, and Neiman Marcus, managing diverse teams and business categories. Now Director of North America Market Development at GIA, she focuses on trade relations and advancing the Institute’s mission of ensuring confidence in gems and jewelry. She supports retailers, trade associations, and the secondary market with access to GIA’s tools, resources, and services. A frequent media contributor, her insights on jewelry trends have appeared in The New York Times and InStyle. She has also served on boards including the Women’s Jewelry Association, Armenian Jewelers Association, and the 24K Club of Southern California.



Grant Mobley

Grant Mobley is the Jewelry & Watch Editor of Only Natural Diamonds and the Natural Diamond Council, with 17 years of industry experience. He grew up in his family’s retail jewelry stores and went on to work in sourcing and manufacturing in China and Thailand before leading sales at Pluczenik, a world-leading diamond sightholder. A GIA graduate, Grant is a recognized jewelry expert featured in outlets like The New York Times, Brides, Cosmopolitan, Elle, and Buzzfeed, and has appeared on Fox, NBC, CBS, E!, and People Magazine, including red carpet coverage for the SAG Awards and The Oscars. His Instagram, followed by over 190,000 people, offers a daily look at the world’s most incredible jewelry.



Mark Klein

Mark Klein is a 3rd generation Diamantaire continuing his family’s Julius Klein Diamonds legacy, established in 1948. With firsthand expertise across the global diamond trade, he oversees every facet of the business—from master cutting and polishing to jewelry manufacturing and distribution of the world’s finest diamonds. Based at the company’s New York headquarters on 47th Street, he mentors the next generation of Diamantaires. Combining his BA in marketing and advertising with extensive GIA education, Mark brings a modern, customer-centric perspective while honoring tradition. He is also active with Diamonds Do Good, AGS Young Titleholders, World Diamond Council, NCDIA, WJA, and other philanthropic institutions.

Each November, NYC Jewelry Week proudly presents ‘The Week,’ a 7-day celebration dedicated to the art of jewelry. This annual festival invites a global audience to explore the world of jewelry through a dynamic mix of in-person and virtual experiences, spanning New York City and beyond. Our hybrid program features virtual programs streamed on YouTube alongside immersive on-site activities.

In-person, NYC Jewelry Week brings together leading figures in the jewelry industry to curate extraordinary experiences, including exhibitions, exclusive shopping opportunities, and retail collaborations. Attendees can also participate in insightful panel discussions that explore trends, challenges, and innovations in the field. Each event creates memorable jewelry moments that celebrate the creativity and craftsmanship of the industry.

Committed to inclusivity, many of our programs are free and open to the public. NYC Jewelry Week seeks to reshape how people view jewelry by inviting everyone to appreciate the artistry behind the scenes.
