About this Event
Devotion is a half-day retreat for self love, held on the Spring Equinox. A time of balance, renewal and new beginnings.
Spiritually, the Spring Equinox has long been seen as the start of the year. A moment when the energy shifts, the light increases, and life begins to move forward again. Seeds that have been resting underground start to grow. Momentum returns. There is a sense of beginning.
Devotion is a way of meeting this moment consciously. A day to mark the seasonal shift by devoting time to yourself. To pause, reset and choose how you want to move into the year ahead.
Devotion, here, is a deep and loving commitment to yourself. A choice to slow down, turn inward and give yourself the time and attention that often gets pushed to the edges of everyday life.
Life pulls us in many directions. Over time, it’s easy to feel stretched thin, disconnected or out of sync. This retreat creates space to pause, gather yourself back and return to your centre, leaving you feeling clearer, more grounded and more like yourself.
This is a mini retreat designed to fill your own cup and nourish your mind and body. A half day to step out of the usual pace and reconnect with yourself through breath, creativity, ceremony and connection.
Some parts of the day invite you inward. Through conscious connected breathwork, reflection and ritual, we explore the inner landscape and create space for clarity, release and deeper awareness.
Other parts of the day are lighter. There is room for art, creativity, joy and play, alongside space to meet the darker emotions when they want to be acknowledged. Depth and lightness sit side by side, without pressure to experience the day in any particular way.
🌿 Blue Lotus Cacao Opening Ceremony
We begin with a Blue Lotus cacao ceremony to help you land and arrive. Ceremonial cacao supports heart connection, presence and gentle nervous system regulation, helping you drop into the body. Blue Lotus adds a calming, introspective quality, setting the tone for the day ahead.
📖 Journaling
Journaling prompts to help you sink deeper into your inner world. A guided process to notice which parts of you are asking for more attention and compassion, and what’s ready to be decluttered and released.
🎨 Creative and Mindful Art Practice
Using art as a medium to help you soften, flow and reconnect with your creativity. Designed to ease mental and emotional load, bring clarity and offer a grounded outlet for expression and integration.
💨 Conscious Connected Breathwork
A breath-led journey designed to support emotional release, nervous system regulation and insight. Held in a safe, supportive space with immersive sound, allowing you to explore your inner landscape and return to stillness and balance.
🔥 Fire Burning Ritual
We close the ceremonial work with a simple fire ritual. You’ll write a letter of release and offer it to the flames, marking transition, renewal and letting go in an intentional, grounded way.
🍲 Nourishing meal, connection and socialising
We finish with a nourishing shared meal. Organic food and cold pressed juices, A chance to ground, connect and gently re-enter the world after the day’s experiences.
This is an invitation to devote time to yourself. To explore depth where it’s needed, enjoy lightness where it’s welcome, and leave feeling nourished, clearer and more at home in your body.
Bring a journal and a pen, wear something comfortable, and come exactly as you are.
We can’t wait to welcome you.
About your host
Liza Al Sady is a breathwork facilitator and the founder of We The Conscious®, the UK’s first breath-led multidisciplinary wellbeing studio.
After 15 years in the corporate world, climbing the ladder and living life at full speed, Liza found herself burnt out and deeply disconnected. What began as a quiet search for relief led her into breathwork, somatic practices, and deep emotional healing. That journey changed everything.
Liza is trained in breathwork and Neo-Emotional Release, and her work blends conscious breathing with somatic exploration, sound, movement, and emotional inquiry. Her sessions are grounded, accessible, and designed for real life, supporting people to reconnect with themselves in a safe, supportive way.
In April 2025, she opened , a breath-led studio built around nervous system support, emotional exploration, and community. The space reflects her belief that self-care does not need to be performative or overwhelming. It needs to meet people where they are.
Liza’s mission is simple. To empower others with the life-changing benefits of breathwork and create spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, and come home to themselves.
