Summary:
You are an excellent people professional right? But when you’re asked to deliver an OD intervention or event to transform change and propel strategy, your heart sinks a little and that imposter inside begins to rob you of your confidence.
We hear you and think this workshop will help you.
It takes a playful approach to one of the prominent people professional preoccupations. It is an opportunity to learn some skills, get some ideas and importantly build the confidence to think and deliver in an OD mindset. Come and join us and take up your space in the OD world.
Aim:
To improve your skills and confidence in designing and delivering impactful OD interventions that will benefit your organisation.
Objectives:
- Describe the underpinning principles, practice, aims and values of OD, in relation to yourself and your context.
- Explain the link between data collection and analysis, and choice of intervention
- Increase knowledge of the different levels at which an OD Practitioner can intervene and appropriate application of a variety of intervention methods.
- Identify the role and methods of evaluation
Outcome:
A relevant, creative, skills-based and contextually informed experience to draw upon when working as an internal consultant within your own organisation.
Target audience:
People professionals who are new to OD and could benefit from a workshop that will support their confidence.
Prework: Bring along an OD intervention that you need to complete in your business area or team or service.

Biography
Dr Donna Willis (she/her)
Donna is a HCPC registered and BPS chartered occupational psychologist, facilitator, coaching psychologist and organisation consultant who has worked at senior level within the NHS. Donna’s interests are in wellbeing, organisational development and creating healthy work cultures in health and care. Her doctoral research explored second victim phenomenon in NHS doctors and her systematic literature review was published in BMJ Leader1 in 2019. More recently, she co-published research undertaken with ELFT and Affinity Health at Work on integrated care competencies within a multi-agency setting2. Donna has recently completed her clinical training as a psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor.
