Hello! Your local "female" Hamlet (The Guardian) has traded in her doublet for Medusa locks. I made this poster with my very own blood, sweat, and baby's tears... I think it's giving digital Medusa... but it might be giving teenage goth girl got beach braids and made a music video with a skateboard in the 90s. Either way, I am soooo excited to announce that I will be at Greenwich Theatre in the Studio from 13-16 May. I'll be performing the *critically acclaimed* DEAD AIR; a tragicomedy about an AI resurrection gone wrong. (In which there is in fact, no AI, just me playing 7 characters in dialogue with each other while Alfie's life goes wrong in every which hilariously morbid way).
DEAD AIR: Since Alfie’s dad died, he’s visited everyone’s dreams but hers. Rude. Desperate to talk to him, she uses AiR, an AI chatbot for the dead. A heartfelt, funny, and glitchy deep dive into grief, ghosts, and digital obsession.
As a bonus, for your £18, I will also be doing a little WIP of my new play, DREAM HOUSE; Changing Rooms meets The Haunting of Hill House. Set in my hometown of Orpington, I am looking at themes of housing, home and habitat through the lens of a home renovation where the sisters can't agree on the paint colours, let alone the rat that keeps stealing the expensive cheese.
