Day 2 of this course gives you everything you need to know about editing your medium format film photography scans, plus a live editing demo from Sèverine.
This type of photography revolutionised my process and made me a better, more intentional photographer. I can't wait to teach you this skill.
📍⚠️ NEW LOCATION Palace of the Dogs, A3B -Bussey Building (Red stairs, 3rd floor)
133 Copeland Road, London SE15 3SN
This session is no longer happening at Riónce Arts club due to electrical issues in the building.
Day 2 completes our film photography process, as we review and discuss developed and scanned negatives together on a large screen, an invaluable opportunity to analyse results, refine technique, and develop your workflow. Day 2 also includes a live editing demo where Sèverine will show you the process of how she retouches film negatives in photoshop
📷 Ahead of the session, you'll be asked to email your scans to Sèverine so we can review them as a group. Please make sure you have digital scans of your film photos ahead of your session.
It is recommended you bring your laptop with photoshop installed.
Who is it for?

What you get
- Understand why your images worked (or didn’t) by reviewing your scans as a group
- Build the confidence to edit medium format independently, in natural light and with flash
- If you attended Day 1, you will have your finished Images featuring a professional model for your portfolio
- Leave with a clear, repeatable approach to editing film going forward
What makes this course worth investing in?
I take an extremely hands-on, supportive approach to teaching any new skill. When I first started shooting medium format film, Youtube university saw me through, but I wished there was someone actually beside me, showing me how to load film correctly, helping me slow down, and guiding me through mistakes before they became expensive lessons. This workshop is designed to be exactly that: real-time guidance while you shoot, space to ask questions, and a complete learning experience that doesn’t end when you press the shutter, but continues through reviewing and understanding your finished images together.
