Come join us after dark...For one night, we descend on Freight Brixton with Dark Arts Night Fayre! A nocturnal social gathering with food, music, art, divination and our night market dealing in the strange, the ritualistic, and the otherworldly.
💀 At the heart of the event is our night market featuring 30+ dark arts and crafts vendors, offering everything from vintage and bespoke artefacts to underground fashion, occult objects, taxidermy, bones, relics, illustration and rare curiosities - alongside beautifully unholy creations not found anywhere else.
🎵 Live music anchors the evening, headlined by Das Fluff, whose fusion of dark synths, grinding guitars and club-driven energy delivers a raw, hypnotic intensity. They are joined by Zero Sun : Kurätaka, an experimental duo blending electric violin, theremin and machine-driven sound into haunting, cinematic performances. DJs continue the descent through to midnight.
🦇 Beyond the stage - Corpse Paint Life Drawing sessions reimagine traditional figure study through a black metal lens, while the Lawn of the Dead workshop invites participants to paint and transform sculptural forms into grotesque, characterful creations. A dedicated Divination space, curated by Mercury Tarot, offers intimate tarot readings and ritual encounters in a candlelit setting.
🍽🍷 Make a night of it - Food and drink are provided throughout by Freight Brixton’s resident Mexican and Caribbean vendors, alongside a fully stocked bar and a Casamigos Tequila and Mezcal pop-up.
Presented as a thank you to our community, the event is free to attend and open to all - whether curious, devoted or simply drawn to the darker side of London’s creative scene.
