Danza Catartica returns for another party at Tunnels on Saturday the 28th March
Another exciting multi-genre blend all on vinyl, led by three well familiar faces of the local scene.
Cornetta, this time, will open the night with an unusual lower tempo blend of Dub, Acid and experimental percussions. To encourage people engaging with the meaning behind a warm-up set and build the atmosphere, we have tickets at a reduced price for £5 if you come from the very start. We feel that this is a ritual that is slowly disappearing, and we want to keep this alive.
We will have in the middle a long-time friend and great contributor to many past events in Aberdeen. Acid Boner truly knows his way around the decks. Alongside his real passion for all nuances of Acidy basslines, hardware and synths, a few might be aware of his previous musical influences that are rooted in Roots and Ska Reggae. Rest assured that Acid Boner would never stopping surprising us, and he can create real chemistry through the different influences that shape Danza Catartica.
To end the night, another dear friend, Gav (Burning Bush-HiFi) will bring his selection of records spanning across Dub, Reggae, Dubstep and Bassy notes. Gav has dedicated a lot of time to build a scene in Aberdeen, and true passion around keeping alive sound system culture.
Cornetta 23:00 – 00:00
Acid Boner 00:00 – 01:30
Burning Bush Hi-Fi – 01:30 – 03:00
