Orienteering for Adult Beginners - Aberdeen

Join our one day beginner workshop led by our experienced coaches and gain the skills and confidence to navigate with a map.

This fun day teaches you the basics of orienteering including:

• Understanding an orienteering map
• Using a compass
• Techniques to navigate a course on a map

By the end of this day you will have the skills and confidence to take part in an orienteering event. There are 3 active clubs in the Edinburgh area, as well as clubs slightly further afield covering East Lothian, the borders, Forth Valley and Fife - so plenty to choose from! No prior knowledge or experience required – just a sense of adventure. All physical activity at whatever level you choose.
