The native gardens at Dane County Humane Society's Wildlife Center serve many purposes--to showcase native plants in a commercial setting, to provide food for native insects, to educate our Camp Wildside students, and even to provide natural food and enrichment for wild patients undergoing rehabilitation! Come help us maintain the gardens and learn more about native gardening while getting to know other Wild Ones members! Address: 5132 Voges Rd, Madison, WI 53718
Time: 8 am - 10 am -- come late or leave early, we're not stuffy!
Park in the main lot and walk to the Wildlife Center in the far back left of the parking lot. The Wildlife Center is a red building with a green roof--meet at the mural on the front of the building.
Bring your favorite tools, gloves, a hat, and a water bottle. We have extra tools, gloves, bug spray, and sunscreen!
