Dance Alchemy is a somatic movement class — which is a fancy way of saying we follow sensation, not choreography. No right way to do it. No performance required.
Sarah Spalletta is a certified Dance Alchemy teacher. I'm Celina, a 200hr yoga teacher and sound healer. Together we created a space where the instruction is simple: let your body lead. Whatever comes up — awkward, wild, tender, tired — is welcome here.
This isn't a dance class where you learn steps. It's a movement practice where you remember that your body already knows things your mind has been trying to manage. We use music, breath, and guided somatic prompts to help you drop out of your head and back into yourself.
April's theme is Wiser Beginnings. The kind of start that carries something with you — the lessons, the scar tissue, the strange grace of having survived whatever you thought would break you. We move through that together.
Classes run Sundays 3-4pm at Jiaren Yoga Studio in Santa Clara. $35 per session. No dance experience needed. All bodies, all fitness levels, all ages welcome. Email [email protected] or text 408-831-1742 to book your spot.
