About this Event
More than 15,000 people in North Texas are living with Parkinson’s disease—and that number is rising at an alarming rate. Now is the time to come together.
Join us for the 2nd Dallas Annual Walk for Parkinson’s on Saturday, April 11, hosted by Dallas Area Parkinson Society (DAPS) and Edgemere senior living community. This inspiring community event brings families, friends, and neighbors together to raise awareness, show support, and stand strong for those living with Parkinson’s. Enjoy the Honeybutton Band, games and entertainment for kids, as well as great raffle prizes!
Parkinson’s affects entire families—so bring your loved ones, rally your friends, and help us take meaningful steps toward hope, connection, and a brighter future.
Parking is available directly across from Edgemere senior living at Park Cities Baptist Church, with assistance on and off shuttles. Resting stations are available throughout the wheelchair accessible, evenly paved walking route. Leashed pets are welcome, and water and refreshments will be provided to participants.
