About this Event
On Saturday, June 20, East Passyunk Avenue between Pat’s King of Steaks and Geno’s Steaks will shut down to car traffic and make way for pick-up soccer games, family-friendly activities, and community togetherness.
This free, open-to-the-public event will take place from 12 to 6 p.m. at the crossroads of one of South Philadelphia’s most iconic blocks as soccer takes over the global conversation.
A Day of Family-Friendly Fun
Building on the excitement of the beautiful game being center stage, the CYSC Street Classic will offer a wide range of interactive, family-friendly, and soccer-forward programming, including:
- 3×3 street soccer matches emphasizing camaraderie and fast-paced play
- Soccer skills challenges for players of all ages
- Family-friendly activations including: Bounce house, face painting, an obstacle course, and active play zones
- Raffles and prizes throughout the day
- Live game screenings
Supporting a Community-Driven Mission
CYSC’s Street Classic supports the grassroots nonprofit’s broader mission: To keep soccer accessible, inclusive, and community-driven. The event reflects CYSC’s guiding principle of instilling passion and sportsmanship in our local youth.
All proceeds from raffles and fundraising activities will directly benefit Capitolo Youth Soccer Club and its year-round programming.
