Customworks Ice Breaker 650 at Fastlane Raceway

After 16 years of racing dirt oval exclusively on our outdoor track, Fastlane Raceway will host our first indoor dirt oval event, The Customworks ICEBREAKER 650 on March 21 & 22, 2026.
Our indoor offroad track will be converted into a high bite, indoor oval for one weekend of racing. Clay compound slicks are likely to be the tire of choice as dirt oval racers will be experiencing the same outstanding traction as our offroad racers enjoy on the hard packed, top soil track.
650 laps of A main action (50 laps for 13 classes) will wrap up an exciting 2 days of insane action on the 50' x 78' high bite oval. But before we get to the mains, there will be lots of practice, a seeding round, 2 qualifying heats and even a pizza party for racers to enjoy.
The provisional schedule is:
Friday
Noon - Doors open
1 PM - Practice
3 PM - Controlled Practice
6 PM - Seeding Round - best 3 laps
9 PM - Pizza Party
10 PM - Doors close
Saturday
8:30 AM - Doors open
9 AM - Controlled practice by Q1 heats. 2 Minute heats
Noon - Q1 - 25 lap heats
3 PM - Q2 - 25 lap heats
6 PM Mains - 30 lap lower, 50 lap A’s
10 PM - expected end of the event
Entry fees are $35 for 1st entry, $25 for 2nd entry and $20 for additional entries (plus applicable sales taxes).

Complete rules will be posted in the next 2 weeks. To maintain the high grip surface for all classes, the Spec Slash, BL-2S and Losi Wingless Sprint classes will be using different tires than their normal spec tires.
