Powell Gardens Colonial Farms is a vibrant destination where people and plants thrive together. Located in Blue Springs, Missouri, this beloved agritourism site is known for u-pick fruit and flowers, seasonal festivals, plant shopping, school field trips, and family traditions.
Powell Gardens purchased the former business (Colonial Gardens and KAT Wholesale) in 2026.
Today, Powell Gardens Colonial Farms begins a new chapter as a key extension of Powell Gardensβ mission in education, environmental stewardship, and community engagement. Colonial Farms is a second site of Powell Gardens dedicated to agriculture, education, retail, and community connection in Blue Springs, Missouri.
Colonial Farms is more than a garden center or farm. Itβs a living, breathing celebration of plants, food, and the land that sustains us. Whether you visit to cultivate your garden, nourish your body, learn something new, or simply enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, youβll find meaningful experiences rooted in connection and growth.
By preserving the traditions people love while expanding hands-on learning opportunities, Powell Gardens Colonial Farms will serve as a dynamic hub for agricultural education and community engagement throughout the Kansas City region.
