About this Event
Join us for a hands-on workshop based on the #CultureForSDGs Toolkit from the Canadian Commission for UNESCO. Designed to encourage cultural and heritage organizations in Canada to advance the SDGs with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, this session offers strategies to integrate the SDGs into your work.
Led by University of Toronto Professor Paolo Granata (the editor of the toolkit) and Robin Sokoloski, Director of Organizational Development of Mass Culture and member of the Board of Directors of the Toronto Arts Council, this event brings together stakeholders to explore how culture can drive progress on the SDGs through design thinking and collaboration.
This one-day, hands-on event is ideal for those eager to brainstorm and design actionable ideas that spark innovation, deepen local impact, and ensure cultural projects align with global sustainability efforts.
About the ON Topic Speaker Series:
This series of talks and workshops brings together arts and culture workers from across the province to discuss timely societal and economic issues impacting their sector, and to provide opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.
