🌎✨ An evening rooted in lineage, culture, and living tradition comes to Portland with Cultura – A World Music Showcase and Fundraiser.Reciprocity Music, Beloved & Soul’d Out present a special edition of Cultura, a world-music showcase and fundraising series honoring artists whose work carries ancestral memory into contemporary sound. This gathering centers Indigenous artists from distinct homelands, affirming the enduring presence, brilliance, and vibrancy of Indigenous culture. The evening will also feature a silent auction benefiting an artist-selected initiative, creating a space where music, movement, and reciprocity directly support cultural continuity.
Poranguí
Raised between Brazil, Mexico, and the Southwestern United States, Poranguí is a globally celebrated multi-instrumentalist and live looper weaving Indigenous and Afro-diasporic musical lineages. Layer by layer, he builds immersive sonic journeys that invite presence, movement, and awe. His previous Portland appearance drew a packed house—this return to the Crystal Ballroom promises something truly expansive.
Snow Raven
From the Sakha Republic of Arctic Siberia, Snow Raven (Suor) channels the breath of reindeer, arctic winds, and birds into layered vocal textures she calls Arctic Beatbox. Blending ancient shamanic traditions with contemporary electronic elements, her performances create an ethereal bridge between ancestral sound and modern sonic landscapes. Her last Portland show sold out—don’t wait on this one.
Sisters of the One Drum
Sisters of the One Drum is an intertribal, intercultural circle of women who gather around the Grandmother Drum for the soul purpose healing, ceremony, and ancestral remembrance. Rooted in Indigenous teachings, their mission is to restore balance and connection through the Medicine of the Drum. With circles, workshops, and gatherings across Turtle Island and beyond, Sisters Of The One Drum lifts voices in unity, one prayer, one voice, one heartbeat.
Acosia Red Elk
Umatilla tribal member Acosia Red Elk will offer a keynote address. A 10-time World Champion Jingle Dress dancer and internationally renowned performing artist, she is the creator of Powwow/Yoga, an Indigenous wellness practice uniting Tribal Dance and Yoga. Through her 7 Generation Approach, Acosia calls us into sustainable mindfulness and collective responsibility for what is sacred.
