Cultivate Workshop Series
In celebration of this landmark year, New Earth Theatre is offering the Cultivate Workshop Series as a fundraiser for our 30th Anniversary campaign. Taking place from August to December, there will be new workshops on offer every month. For September, we are offering:
Voice and Speech with Kwong Loke
Join Kwong Loke, one of New Earth Theatre's founding members, for a Voice and Speech Workshop. The class will start with body and breath work to relax your instrument, then go into a vocal workout covering breath support, resonance, capacity, and articulation. The workshop will end with some text work. Learn how to lower your breath and free your voice. All levels welcome.
Voice and Speech is the second class in the Cultivate Workshop Series, brought to you by New Earth Theatre as a fundraiser for its 30th Anniversary Campaign. More workshops will be added regularly so be sure to check out what's on offer. All workshops are £15, plus the Eventbrite service charge of £1.63.
As this is a fundraiser, if you are able to, we ask that you consider donating more on top of the £16.63 class fee and service charge.

A founding member of New Earth Theatre, Kwong trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and works as actor and lecturer in performance. His recent theatre work includes plays at the RSC, the National Theatre, The Royal Court, and several West End venues. He teaches Voice, drawing from his training with Patsy Rodenburg and his experience performing in the myriad theatre spaces, as well as in film and television. He was a founder member of New Earth Theatre, which champions East/SE Asian work and practitioners, and frequently runs acting workshops in East Asia.
