Marilyn Rodriquez-Behrle is a mixed media Latina community artist who has resided in the heart of North Philadelphia. Marilyn is an accomplished art educatior and artist who has taught in Philadelphia for over 45 years.
"My art inspires me to reflect on my environment and my community. I am a green artist. Most of my paintings and drawings are manifested through unconventional materials like paper bags and other objects. The materials I select are often chosen to fit within the context of the subjects. My works reference lost souls who bestow their constant struggle with mental illness, drug addictions, and social handicaps." - Marilyn Rodriquez-Behrle
