Join Dark Yellow Dot for an immersive two-day experience at CRATE Walthamstow celebrating artists, creativity and artistic growth. We’ll be celebrating 7 years of supporting emerging artists with this event showcasing an array of enriching activities for creatives who want to do more with their art. We're kicking off the renowned E17 Art Trail, with this fun event of art and connection!
What to expect at the end of Crate Party June 29 & 30:

At the end of the month, we'll be hosting a series of developmental workshops for artists of any level who want to gain insight into adding value to their work or practice.

You can book a single workshop, Day Pass, Weekend Pass or just come along for free to be around other artists. All paid tickets include a Free drink on the house!
Group Exhibition and Residency: Showcasing an exceptional range of local artists work, ranging from paintings to digitally immersive pieces. We’ll also be hosting our 4th artist residency at 1B Window Gallery on the Art Trail with local artist Yimiao Shih.
Makers Workshops
Learn from skilled artists and experiment with hands-on making sessions covering various techniques such as capturing likeness in portraits, breaking subjects down into shapes and blocks, infusing emotion into your work to attract buyers, and more.
What Art School Didn’t Teach You
A series of incredibly informative sessions on topics that school somehow forgot to teach us! Learn from established artists and creative professionals including our Founder of Dark Yellow Dot, Lauren Little, to learn how to build an artist brand, write impactful artists statements, business basics and more.
: Receive personalised feedback from seasoned professionals and peer-to-peer commentary to find areas for improvement and refine your portfolio to elevate and develop your practice.
Who is Dark Yellow Dot?
Dark Yellow Dot, is an artist-run platform for sharing, connecting, learning and growing as an artist. By curating and organising exhibitions, workshops and other events, we’re supporting and making space for new artists and creative beginners. We’re proud to have featured many artists in their first ever exhibitions and online publications. Read more about us here.

What is the E17 Art Trail?
It's a festival created by the residents of Walthamstow and produced by Artillery. The E17 Art Trail festival makes visible and celebrates the creativity of artists and creative citizens living and working in and around Walthamstow, East London. It is produced and gently curated by Artillery.
