BETTINA ROSE JURÁK
Bettina made her choreographic debut at the age of 21 with a dance piece titled 'Analog'. A few years later, she created her second full-length production, 'I’m Not Available, I’m Breathing', which sold out in less than 24 hours.
Since then, she has participated in numerous choreographic research processes, diverse dance performances, theater productions, live concerts, music videos, and films. She has collaborated with actors and musicians as a choreographer and movement coach, guiding hundreds of people in recent years. Most recently, she worked as the choreographer’s assistant on The Testament of Ann Lee.
Currently, Bettina is developing dance works that invite the audience to shift their attention
- not just toward the performance, but inward, toward themselves, even if only for a brief moment.
This piece is part of an ongoing exploration into how we - as artists - can create moments of presence for the audience.
How can we not only build a world on stage, but also invite the audience to inhabit it fully?
To not just witness, but to be - to drop into themselves, even if only for a fleeting moment.
