We’re teaming up with The Noire Space to bring you a relaxed, welcoming Cornrow & Connect experience created especially for Black women.
This event is about more than learning to braid. It’s about carving out intentional time together, building confidence in your own hands, and connecting with women who truly understand your hair and your journey.
Whether you’re completely new to cornrows or you’ve tried a few styles before, you’ll be supported every step of the way.
What to expect:
Hands-on cornrow workshop
Stylists from IVY WILD Academy will guide you through core braiding and cornrowing techniques Whether you’re starting from scratch or refining what you already know, you’ll get practical, step-by-step support in a relaxed setting.
EDGE-UCATION: Scalp care and hair health
Our in-house doctor and trichologist from Dr Eve Clinic will share tailored advice on caring for afro, kinky and coily textures. You’ll gain clear insight into scalp health and simple ways to strengthen and maintain your hair.
Networking and community connection
Meet other black women who share your hair journey and experiences.
Swap tips, share stories, and leave with lasting connections and new friendships within a supportive, judgement-free space.
Your own braiding partner
You’ll have the option to purchase a coily-textured mannequin so you can continue practising and building your confidence at home.
All materials will be provided on the day, but you’re welcome to bring your favourite combs or hair accessories if you’d like to use your own tools.
