Please bring a dish to share and a Cooper Book if you've got one -- we've got loaners if you don't. Newcomers are always welcome!
If you're not familiar with the Cooper Book -- there's lots of familiar songs from the Denson Sacred Harp and the Christian Harmony and a handful from Shenandoah, plus a whole bunch of old hymns and new songs by living composers that aren't in any other book, as well as a sizeable helping of gospel. We will have a rollicking good time.
1540 Dickinson Street is 3 blocks from the Broad Street Line and accessible by several buses. Parking is...better than many places nearby, but it's still South Philly. There are about 6 steps leading up to the front door, and restrooms are up an additional flight of steps. If you're feeling cold or flu symptoms, please stay home and rest, and we'll see you next time.
