About this Event
forum+ and St Luke's Community Centre are proud to present a special session of Cooking With Pride for LGBT History Month 2025!
On Tuesday 4th February our group will be guided through the steps to prepare and cook a delicious winter menu. At the end we will all sit down together to enjoy our meal, with any leftovers packaged up to take home to enjoy with family and friends. Celebrate LGBT History Month, wear the rainbow and show your pride in the kitchen at St Luke's!
The cookery class and social first took place in LGBT History Month 2020 and has been held at St Luke’s regularly since Pride Month 2022. Cooking With Pride is a warm, welcoming and inclusive social group where we join together to learn recipes and enjoy a delicious meal. At each event there is a focus on a different cuisine and there have been special cultural celebrations e.g. Irish food enjoyed for St Patrick’s Day and Indian cuisine showcased on Diwali.
The event is for ages 18+, takes place at St Luke’s Community Centre and is free to join. 6 spaces at the event are reserved for LGBT members of St Luke's Community Centre and can be booked directly be contacting St Luke's and 6 spaces are reserved for forum+ - our activities, events and social support groups are for people who live, study, work or access services in Camden or Islington.
