Dr. Nancy Church and Charles Jett cordially invite you to an evening with Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart for a candid, wide-ranging discussion on Crime in Chicago, Public Safety, and Human Trafficking. Few public officials in America understand the realities of urban crime as intimately as Sheriff Dart. As the head of one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the nation—overseeing a police department, the largest single-site J*il in the country, and courtroom security across Cook County—he brings a perspective that is equal parts prosecutor, reformer, and front-line commander.
Sheriff Dart will share his insights on the forces driving crime in the Chicago area, the challenges facing law enforcement today, and the innovative approaches his office has pioneered—from mental health intervention and anti-trafficking operations to community policing and criminal justice reform. This will be an open, interactive conversation with ample time for your questions and discussion.
The salon will be held on Wednesday evening, April 15, from 6:30 to 9:30 PM, at 180 East Pearson Street, Unit 3301 (Water Tower Residences), Chicago. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served. This event is by invitation only.
