Connecting the Dots - Stroke Treatment Symposium

Join us for the annual Multidisciplinary Alfred Health Stroke Treatment Symposium on May 29, 2026, from 8:30am to 4:30pm, at The Hub precinct of Alfred Hospital.

This is our first meeting since becoming part of Bayside Health, and we look forward to welcoming speakers and colleagues from Peninsula and Bass Coast Health. Our goal is to foster networking opportunities, as well as high quality education related to all aspects of stroke care.

The event is free and open to any healthcare professional or researcher affiliated with Bayside Health, who works with individuals affected by stroke. The day will feature 30-minute interactive sessions led by experts in stroke care from across Bayside Health.

The provisional programme is outlined below and includes the presentation of the annual Alfred Lisla Wellington Prize for excellence in stroke care. Additionally, there will be a dedicated "Getting to Know Our Service" during the afternoon, which will be accessible to colleagues at Bayside Health via Teams as a hybrid meeting. Please note that the remainder of the symposium will be in-person attendance only.
