About this Event

🧡 What is this workshop about?

Would you like to help build a stronger, more connected community? This free, friendly workshop will give you the tools and ideas to make it happen. You don’t need any experience – just an interest in your neighbourhood.

🌱 What will we do?

During the day, we will:

✔ Build a sense of community with others in the room

✔ Learn about the six types of local assets – things that help a neighbourhood thrive

✔ Explore how to spot people’s skills, passions and gifts

✔ Practise asking powerful questions in real-life settings

✔ Talk about how we can support people to help themselves, rather than doing things for them

📍 Where is it?

Bristol City Council, City Hall, College Green, Bristol, BS1 5TR

Step-free access and accessible toilet available

🥗 What should I bring?

We’ll have a shared lunch – bring a dish to share if you’d like (no pressure!). We’ll provide refreshments including tea, coffee, fruit and biscuits to keep you energised throughout the day.
