About this Event
Join in a restorative guided walk in the Britannia Conservation Area. It's the perfect chance to pause and connect with nature, breathe the crisp winter air, and support a great local cause. Bring a friend or come solo – everyone’s welcome and you'll find you're among kindred spirits who love to share quiet time among the trees.
This walk is a gift from Andrea Prazmowski, a Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide, in support of the Britannia Winter Trail -- the awesome ski trail maintained by community volunteers.
The guide offers a series of invitations to help everyone to be present, awaken our senses, and notice the gifts of nature and of the season. We close the walk with wild-crafted tea and trail snacks.
These walks are slow and gentle and you don't need a high level of fitness. But you do need to be comfortable walking on the snowy path and being out on the trail for two hours.
Tickets are by donation ($20-$25/person suggested.) For ages 12 and up.
The walk may be postponed if the weather isn't favourable. In that case, you can decide if you'd like a refund or would like your donation sent to the Britannia Winter Trail.
You'll receive all the details, including the meet-up spot, after registration. Contact Andrea at [email protected] if you have any questions before registering.
