Systems thinking in the built environment is developing unstoppable momentum. Join us to find out more.
About this Event

Launched in July 2025, the Built Environment Connective's manifesto 'Connect to change' articulated the need for systems thinking and systemic approaches across the built environment. The message has received resounding support. Government, leading organisations and individuals are turning the 'Connect to change' recommendations into actions.

This event - the Connective's second Connect to Change event - will chart industry's progress and provide a view of our shared ambition. It is about progress, practice and momentum – not just why systems thinking matters, but how it’s being applied and what’s next.

What to expect:

  • Updates from government and industry on the systemic challenges facing the built environment
  • Early insight from the Built Environment Systems Review, our first recommendation in Connect to Change.
  • Evidence of the industry’s progress in adopting systems thinking
  • Space to connect, challenge thinking and shape the next phase of change

The agenda is being developed around positive systems change – not just talking but doing. A full agenda, along with speakers and case study topics, will be announced shortly.
