# Concert For Coats
The Philadelphia Wind Symphony presents a holiday "Concert For Coats" in partnership with Broad Street Ministry.
If you are able, they encourage all attendees to bring a donation of a new or lightly used coat to help those in need.

The Philadelphia Wind Symphony is a professional ensemble whose members share a common goal of engaging the Philadelphia community through presenting performances of the band and wind ensemble literature. Founded in 2011 by Virginia Allen, this is a 51-member volunteer ensemble of woodwind, brass and percussion players are citizen artists who are engaged in various professional pursuits. The Philadelphia Wind Symphony presents half a dozen concerts each season around the Philadelphia region. The ensemble is committed to high-quality performances of standard wind ensemble literature while exploring new artistic heights of contemporary music.
