About this Event
We will meet once a week, Wednesday , for 8 consecutive weeks—two hours per week.
Compassion Cultivation Training© (CCT) was designed at Stanford University and is taught worldwide by certified instructors.
CCT offers a science-backed approach to practicing compassion for yourself and others. Through group discussions, meditation, and inquiry, you will gain practical tools to enhance your awareness, understanding, and resilience. In addition, CCT can help you relate more positively with friends, family, and coworkers.
The workshop helps enhance our inner resources and lets us emanate peace and serenity in even the most stressful environments. It is about facing the world with compassion and understanding.
During difficult times, having the courage to help others and ourselves will define how we strive. When society reinforces our differences daily, we need to remind ourselves that our common humanity and compassion are essential to keeping us together.
