About this Event
Emergencies can happen anywhere — at home, at work, at church, at school, or in our communities. In those critical moments, knowing what to do can make the difference between life and death.
The Community Safety & Wellness Workshop is designed to equip individuals, families, and community members with the practical skills needed to respond confidently during emergencies. This hands-on training experience brings together professionals who are passionate about teaching life-saving techniques that can help protect the people and communities we care about most.
During this workshop, participants will receive instruction and certification in three critical areas of safety and preparedness.
CPR & AED Training
Learn how to respond during cardiac emergencies, perform effective CPR, and properly use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Immediate response can dramatically increase survival rates when someone experiences cardiac arrest.
Fire Safety Training
Gain essential knowledge on fire prevention, recognizing fire hazards, and responding effectively during fire emergencies at home or in the community.
Active Shooter Preparedness
Understand how to recognize potential threats and learn strategies for responding safely during emergency situations. This training focuses on awareness, preparedness, and protecting lives during high-risk situations.
This event is not only about training — it is about empowering communities with knowledge that can save lives. Whether you are a parent, educator, church member, community leader, or simply someone who wants to be prepared, this workshop provides valuable skills that can make a real difference.
In addition to the training sessions, attendees will also have access to a Community Marketplace featuring local vendors offering products, services, and resources that support wellness, safety, and small business development.
Light refreshments will be available during the event.
Together, we can build stronger, safer communities by ensuring more people are prepared when emergencies arise.
