
About this Event
Discover together through engaging activities for all ages as you explore the Museum, learn about the art on view, and create your own artwork with Chicago artists. Inspired by artists Marva Lee Pitchford-Jolly, Jenny Siporin and Betty Zakoian, explore art inspired by personal stories, dreams and memories.
Museum admission and activities are free and open to all ages.
11:30 am-12 pm: All ages Slow Look of an artwork in Catalyst
12-1:30 pm: Make a layered, mixed media collage with Artist Eseosa Edebiri. Materials will be provided, participants are invited to bring collage materials such as a photo of a loved one.
2-3:30 pm: Learn to embroider with Artist Carina Yepez.
3-4:30 pm: Create soft sculpture horses from recycled materials with artists from Envision Unlimited.
